Travel Abroad
School director, Trevor Twist, organizes and leads travel to explore the creative treasures of international cities! These adventures include daily art immersion activities including: museum tours, drawing lessons, architectural lectures, and landscape, as well as urban scene drawing sessions. The activities are comprehensive yet easy going, just like Trevor’s classes!
“The more you know a nation’s art, the more you understand the people and vice versa.”

The pictures to the left are from the 2017 Spain trip!
The group landed in the Spanish capital of Madrid on July 10, 2017 and spent the next few days exploring museums that housed works by Valezquez and Picasso, as well as a few of Ernest Hemingway's old haunts. Then the group headed to the coastal city of Valencia for some well deserved R&R while doing some plein-air painting and soaking up the sun of Valencia’s world class beaches. Next, the group was off to the Spanish cultural center of Barcelona to explore the works of Picasso, taste the city’s world class restaurants, and absorb the abundance of Gaudi's architecture. The tour ended with a direct flight back to Baltimore on July 20, 2017. If you are interested in a similar trip, please contract Trevor Twist at (410) 274-6652 to discuss potential destination options. These trips promise to provide a lifetime of artistic and cultural enrichment through Trevor's curated tours of artistic treasures. All ages & art experience levels welcome!
