In this open studio session, school head Trevor Twist provides instruction on individual projects with an emphasis on oil and canvas work. Students are welcome to bring on going projects or come in to start fresh. This class provides an excellent way to familiarize yourself with individual project development and developing your own sense of creative planning.
Watercolor Painting with Bill Wright
Wednesdays, 1:00 - 3:00pm and 6:30 - 9:00pm
With over 30 years of teaching experience, accomplished landscape painter Bill Wright bring an immense amount of experience to the studio floor. Under Bill’s good-natured instruction, students of all skill levels will learn how to capture a fleeting scene with a small splash of water and color. If you’re looking for gentle instruction and an innovative approach to the study of watercolor, look no further.
Public Live Figure Drawing

Thursday evening’s drawing night offers the chance for both students and those curious about MSFA programs to draw from a live figure in a welcoming environment with artistic peers. No instruction is provided in this open studio session; just discussion and positivity. Wine, cheese, or $15 - $20 donations are highly encouraged.
